Vic Valdez

Vic Valdez is a 20 year old painter grown and raised in Texas's Dallas and Forth Worth area. She is currently studying for her BFA at the University of North Texas with her ultimate goal to be a mortician. Much of her work focuses on the death positivity movement and aims to move the viewer to start thinking about their own mortality.

After the sudden deaths and medical emergencies that happened to her immediate family throughout her life she uses the surrealism movement as a vehicle to share her thoughts on how life, death, and womanhood all interlap.
